Villa La Rossa is one of the best - or the best - B&B I have ever visited. The hotel is run by a family, everyone is friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped and incredibly clean, the location is just fantastic. There comes a delightful breakfast with the room, and from the balconies one may enjoy the beauty of the Istrian evenings.

the room and beds were good size, clean, comfortable for the most part. good AC in the rooms. nice balcony. the owners were super friendly and prepared an amazing breakfast with wide variety until 10am. location is 15 min walk to beaches and old town.

− Could be better:the beds just had a thin sheet rather than a comforter or duvet, which made it a bit more difficult to sleep

Perfect location in a quiet street, with enough big parking area. The seaside promenade is within 10-12 minutes walk. Wide selection of foods and drinks at breakfast. Supportive and friendly host family. Spotless cleanliness in every corner of the house.

We really love the falmily atmosphere of this place, really in the Bed and Breakfast Spirit. The hosts are dedicated beyond limit to their hotel and host and make sure that they have a nice stay. The location is perfect at close distance from the beach but in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. On a more personal note; in times where traveling becomes increasingly uninformed and impersonal, it’s reinsuring that are still such decent place where being welcomed mean something.

The personnel, the location

Stayed in this B&B for 3 nights to see the finals weekend of the Umag tennis tournament. Great location – beaches, the tennis stadium, sports facilities (e.g., Padel courts), bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, comfortable, and a good size for three people, and parking was available on site. The breakfast buffet was a true highlight, it really exceeded our expectations. We also appreciated the free supply of cold natural and sparkling water, umbrellas, and bicycles (although we didn't use the latter). Overall, great value for money, and highly recommended.

Very comfortable, many facilities and friendly staff

I liked the owner's complete care and attention to the comfort of the guests, I was pleased with the many little things that make the stay more pleasant, such as free bicycles for guests or always available cold carbonated and non-carbonated drinking water from the dispenser. I must also highlight the absolute cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel. The breakfasts are excellent with a sufficient selection of fresh products. When I return, I will definitely choose this accommodation again.

Look no further as this was an amazing place for our Family. From the staff to Location, Breakfast, free bikes, Free cold sparkling water and water downstairs, comfy Beds. This place had it all. Owner of the Property went out of his way to check everything was O.K, provided the Family with free beach towels as we didn't have any coming from Australia, gave us all the information needed and advised us of things to do. Amazing Breakfast and beautifully presented.

Staff were excellent, rooms were clean and location is excellent.

Everything. From the big, clean and tidy room with balcony to the amazing relaxing area to have breakfast. This was absolutely wonderful: a huge variety of local delicatessen mixed with fresh products every morning. Plenty and delicious. Top notch the water dispenser for both still and sparkling water available 24/7. Location absolutely fantastic, 5 minutes walk to the beach and few minutes more to all the local shops and restaurants. I can't fault anything

Very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, cleaned every day - I recommend it for families with children. Additionally, delicious breakfasts.

The owner is really friendly and supported us whenever we needed his advice. The breakfast buffet was great and the location close to the sea and city center, though quiet.

La Rossa is a friendly, efficiently run, no frills B&B. The rooms are comfortable and adequate; nothing fancy but not dated either and everything works. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He lent me his bike for the day, which was great, and it was a struggle to persuade him to accept some payment for the use of the bike but it really made my day and I was very grateful. I had an extremely comfortable stay. On site parking is very convenient. A varied breakfast - something for everyone.

Very friendly owner, we could leave the car here for a week while cycling Istria. Breakfast is super on the backyard patio. Only a few minutes walk to the harbor, 20 min to downtown Umag.
